Job Description

Cytiva seeks an Area Service Manager to lead field service operations across Los Angeles and the Rockies region. The role involves managing a distributed team of Field Service Engineers, driving service revenue growth, and implementing continuous improvement practices within a life sciences equipment services environment.

Responsibilities

• Own area service business performance including revenue growth, operational effectiveness, and customer satisfaction across Los Angeles & Rockies
• Lead field service growth initiatives including contract capture, unit additions, renewals, and service attachments with enabled engineers
• Provide leadership and development to a geographically distributed Field Service Engineer team with accountability for performance and engagement
• Deploy and sustain Danaher Business System rigor through Daily Management, Visual Management, and continuous improvement execution
• Serve as primary management escalation for complex customer and operational issues while protecting relationships and business interests

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or related field; or equivalent professional/military experience
• Significant experience leading customer-facing field service teams in life sciences, biotechnology, or high-technology sectors
• Prior managerial experience developing and leading Field Service Engineers or technical customer-facing staff
• Demonstrated ability managing geographically distributed and remote service teams across complex territories
• Hands-on experience with Danaher Business System tools or comparable continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven track record managing service revenue, growth initiatives, and operational performance metrics at area or territory level
